Phil Blake

Phil Blake’s work draws heavily on nature and we love the playful nod to William Morris and the Arts and Crafts movement which burgeoned in the late 19th Century – just after Orwell Cottage was built.

His work is beautifully mature and elegant, as well as being striking and fun. This style resonated with us and we were delighted when he agreed to come and work on the wall of Orwell Cottage.

Phil Blake’s art works wonderfully as a backdrop to the cottage garden, which was meticulously designed by Secret Gardens Design.
